re-cycle / re-create

how many things

are completely new,

how many of the words, that we use every day

are invented by us,

we walk the same road

we see the same faces,

we hear the same words

when we want a change, we want to change something old and already well known,

we compare the present day with the previous one,

when we learn something new, we add it to the files of our memory, where we keep the old and familiar things,

"old" and "new" are relative concepts

renewal is the transformation of the old,

recreation and reproduction

are parts of life

the works presented here have their stories

that hide under layers of paint or paper,

the works presented here are revised, modified, updated,

they have received possibility

to show their “new faces” and

add new meanings to their existences…
